Produce Your Next Short Film with the Nuvee Club
The Nukhu Challenge is an Instagram creator competition presented by the Nuvee Club.
Eligible creators are invited to publish an original Instagram Reel in which they say the word “Nukhu,” invite @nuveeclub as a collaborator, and generate authentic audience engagement.
The accepted and eligible Reel with the highest verified combined total of likes, comments, shares, and reposts by the deadline will be identified as the potential winner.
Following verification, one winner will work with filmmaker Sanjay Singh and the Nuvee Club to develop and produce an original short film of up to 10 minutes.
No purchase or Nukhufest ticket purchase is required to enter or win.
Official Rules
1. Promotion Name
The name of this promotion is The Nukhu Challenge 2026, referred to in these Official Rules as the “Contest.”
2. Sponsor
The Contest is sponsored and administered by Nukhu Media, LLC, doing business as Nuvee Club, referred to in these Official Rules as the “Sponsor.”
Questions concerning the Contest may be sent to:
[email protected]
3. Agreement to the Official Rules
Participation in the Contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to the Sponsor’s decisions concerning the administration, interpretation, verification, and enforcement of the Contest.
The Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding, subject to applicable law.
4. Contest Period
The Contest begins when the Sponsor publishes the official Nukhu Challenge announcement Reel on August 6, 2026.
The Contest ends on September 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, referred to as the “Contest Deadline.”
The period between the opening of the Contest and the Contest Deadline is referred to as the “Contest Period.”
An entry Reel must be published, and the collaborator invitation to @nuveeclub must be sent, during the Contest Period.
The Sponsor may continue reviewing timely submitted collaborator invitations until September 18, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time, referred to as the “Entry Review Period.”
No engagement occurring after the Contest Deadline will be included in an entry’s final score.
The Sponsor’s systems, Instagram records, and Instagram Insights will serve as the official timekeeping and engagement records for the Contest.
Entrants should submit early enough to allow the Sponsor to review the collaborator invitation. The Sponsor does not guarantee that an invitation submitted immediately before the Contest Deadline can be reviewed or accepted.
5. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to individual legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., who:
Are at least 18 years old.
Have reached the age of majority in their state or district of residence.
Are legally able to enter into binding contracts.
Satisfy all requirements contained in these Official Rules.
Employees, officers, directors, contractors, representatives, judges, and immediate family or household members of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies, and any organization directly involved in administering the Contest are not eligible.
The Contest is void in Puerto Rico, United States territories and possessions, and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.
Purchasing a Nukhufest ticket, film submission, membership, product, or service will not improve an entrant’s eligibility, engagement score, or likelihood of winning.
6. How to Enter
During the Contest Period, an eligible entrant must:
Follow @nuveeclub on Instagram.
Create and publish an original Instagram Reel from a public Instagram account.
Clearly say, sing, or otherwise vocalize the word “Nukhu” in the Reel.
Invite @nuveeclub to appear as a collaborator on the Reel.
Include #NukhuChallenge in the Reel caption.
Clearly state in the Reel caption that the Reel is an entry into the Nukhu Challenge for a chance to have the entrant’s next short film produced by Nuvee Club.
The following language satisfies the disclosure requirement:
“Entering the #NukhuChallenge to have my next short film produced by @nuveeclub.”
The entrant may use substantially similar language, provided that the caption clearly communicates that:
The Reel is a Nukhu Challenge entry.
The entrant is competing for a chance to have a short film produced by Nuvee Club.
@nuveeclub is identified in the caption.
The entrant must keep the account public and maintain the Reel, caption, collaborator designation, engagement information, and Instagram Insights through completion of winner verification.
Sending a collaborator invitation does not automatically create an eligible entry.
The Sponsor must accept the collaborator invitation for the Reel to become provisionally eligible.
Acceptance of a collaborator invitation remains subject to final eligibility, rights, engagement, identity, and fraud verification.
There is no entry fee.
7. Original Poster and Additional Collaborators
The sole entrant associated with a Reel is the eligible individual who owns, controls, or is authorized to represent the Instagram account from which the Reel was originally published.
That individual is referred to in these Official Rules as the “Original Poster.”
An Original Poster may invite additional Instagram accounts to appear as collaborators on the Reel.
Additional collaborators, performers, producers, organizations, brands, featured individuals, or other participants are not entrants, co winners, or recipients of the Prize solely because they appear in or contribute to the Reel.
Only the Original Poster may:
Qualify as the potential winner.
Complete winner verification.
Accept the Prize.
Enter into the development and production agreement with the Sponsor.
If a Reel is published through a business, organization, shared, or team account, one eligible individual with authority to represent the account must be identified as the Original Poster during verification.
The Original Poster is responsible for obtaining all required permissions, approvals, and releases from additional collaborators and every other person who contributed to or appears in the Reel.
8. Multiple Entries
An Original Poster may submit more than one Reel during the Contest Period.
Each Reel must separately satisfy all entry requirements and receive acceptance of the @nuveeclub collaborator invitation.
Each accepted Reel will be scored separately.
Only the Original Poster’s highest scoring eligible Reel may be considered for the Prize.
An Original Poster may not receive more than one Prize.
9. Required Contest Disclosure
Each entry caption must clearly disclose that the Reel is an entry into the Nukhu Challenge for a chance to have the entrant’s next short film produced by Nuvee Club.
The following is an approved disclosure:
“Entering the #NukhuChallenge to have my next short film produced by @nuveeclub.”
Entrants are not required to reproduce the approved disclosure word for word. Substantially similar language is permitted when it clearly and conspicuously communicates the entry’s relationship to the Contest and the production opportunity.
The disclosure must appear within the Reel caption. It may not appear only in a comment, Story, direct message, separate post, or profile biography.
The disclosure may not be hidden among unrelated hashtags or written in language that obscures the fact that the Reel is a Contest entry.
The hashtag #NukhuChallenge by itself does not satisfy the disclosure requirement.
The Original Poster must maintain the disclosure through completion of winner verification.
Failure to include or maintain a sufficient disclosure may result in rejection or disqualification.
10. Preliminary Review and Collaborator Acceptance
The Sponsor retains editorial and administrative control over the content displayed through the @nuveeclub Instagram account.
Only Reels for which the Sponsor accepts the collaborator invitation will become provisionally eligible.
The Sponsor may accept, decline, ignore, or remove a collaborator invitation based on factors including:
Failure to follow the entry instructions.
Lack of a meaningful original contribution.
Duplicate, repetitive, blank, substantially empty, or automated content.
Suspected stolen or infringing content.
Unrelated advertising or commercial promotion.
An apparent attempt to capitalize on the Sponsor’s account growth without genuinely participating in the Contest.
An apparent attempt to create a false or misleading affiliation with the Sponsor.
Legal, copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or contractual concerns.
Brand safety or reputational concerns.
Violations of Instagram policies or these Official Rules.
Inability to verify the identity or authority of the Original Poster.
Any other reasonable concern involving the legitimacy, legality, authenticity, administration, or integrity of the entry.
Acceptance means only that the Reel has passed the Sponsor’s preliminary review.
Acceptance does not guarantee final eligibility, continued placement on the Sponsor’s profile, selection as the potential winner, or receipt of the Prize.
The Sponsor may later remove an accepted collaboration and disqualify the entry if a violation is discovered.
The Sponsor may feature, repost, react to, discuss, or otherwise promote some accepted entries and not others.
Entrants acknowledge that entries may receive different levels of exposure and that equal promotion is not guaranteed.
11. Entry Content Requirements
An entry may use any lawful creative format, genre, subject, performance style, or production approach.
Each entry must:
Be created or lawfully controlled by the Original Poster.
Contain a meaningful original contribution by the Original Poster.
Comply with Instagram’s Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and applicable laws.
Contain only music, footage, performances, artwork, trademarks, locations, and other material the Original Poster has permission to use.
Include appropriate permission from every identifiable person appearing in the Reel.
Not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other right.
Not contain unlawful, threatening, defamatory, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, fraudulent, or deliberately deceptive material.
Not encourage dangerous or illegal conduct.
Not contain confidential information or material subject to another party’s confidentiality obligations.
Not falsely suggest endorsement, employment, financing, representation, or another formal relationship with the Sponsor.
Not consist primarily of unrelated advertising, repetitive uploads, engagement bait, or recycled content lacking meaningful original expression.
The Sponsor may determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether an entry satisfies these requirements.
12. Verified Engagement Score
The Contest is based on measurable audience engagement and is not a random drawing.
Each accepted and otherwise eligible entry will receive a Verified Engagement Score calculated as follows:
Verified likes
plus verified comments
plus verified shares
plus verified reposts
The engagement snapshot will be taken as of September 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Views, plays, impressions, reach, follower count, saves, and Story views will not be included unless the Sponsor announces a written clarification before the Contest Deadline.
Where an entry contains additional Instagram collaborators, eligible engagement reported for the collaborative Reel may be included in the score.
The Original Poster will nevertheless remain the sole entrant.
If Instagram combines, renames, removes, or does not separately report one of the engagement categories, the Sponsor may use the closest available Instagram Insights measurement.
The same interaction will not be counted more than once merely because Instagram reports it under overlapping categories.
The Sponsor may request:
Screenshots of Instagram Insights.
Screen recordings showing the entry’s analytics.
Live account access demonstrations.
Exported analytics.
Identity and account ownership verification.
Other information reasonably required to confirm engagement.
The accepted and eligible Reel receiving the highest Verified Engagement Score will be associated with the potential winner, subject to verification.
13. Prohibited Engagement Practices
All counted engagement must result from genuine human activity.
Entrants may organically promote their Reel, send it to friends or communities, repost it, and encourage people to view or engage with it.
Entrants may not:
Purchase likes, comments, shares, reposts, views, followers, impressions, or other engagement.
Use bots, scripts, automated accounts, click farms, fake accounts, or similar services.
Participate in engagement exchanges or engagement pods created primarily to manipulate the Contest results.
Offer money, prizes, gifts, services, discounts, promotion entries, or anything else of value in exchange for engagement.
Use paid advertising, boosted posts, purchased media, or paid influencer placements to increase engagement on the entry.
Coordinate automated, copied, irrelevant, repetitive, or otherwise inauthentic comments.
Misrepresent the source, authenticity, or organic nature of the engagement.
Harass, deceive, pressure, or impersonate another person to generate engagement.
Attempt to interfere with, suppress, report, disable, or manipulate another entrant’s Reel or account.
The Sponsor may investigate unusual engagement patterns and remove engagement it reasonably determines to be fraudulent, automated, purchased, duplicated, incentivized, or otherwise manipulated.
The Sponsor may adjust an entry’s score or disqualify the entry.
An Original Poster may be disqualified for prohibited activity conducted by another person when the Sponsor reasonably determines that the Original Poster authorized, requested, coordinated, knowingly accepted, or materially benefited from that activity.
14. Tie Breaking Procedure
If two or more eligible entries receive the same Verified Engagement Score, the tie will be resolved using the following criteria, in order:
The entry with the greater combined number of verified shares and reposts.
The entry with the greater number of verified comments.
The entry with the greater number of verified likes.
A review by a Nuvee Club panel based on originality, creative presence, audience connection, and execution.
The Sponsor’s tie breaking decision will be final, subject to applicable law.
15. Potential Winner Verification
The potential winner will be contacted through Instagram direct message after the Contest Deadline.
Entrants with highly ranked Reels should monitor their Instagram messages beginning on the evening of September 18, 2026.
The potential winner must respond within the period stated in the Sponsor’s message and may be required to provide:
Proof of age, identity, and eligible residency.
Proof of ownership or authorized control of the Original Poster account.
The original Reel file.
Instagram Insights and engagement records.
Proof of compliance with the required caption disclosure.
Permissions and releases from collaborators and contributors.
An affidavit of eligibility.
A liability and publicity release.
Tax documentation.
Other documentation reasonably required to verify the entry.
Failure to respond promptly, provide the requested documentation, satisfy the eligibility requirements, or verify the engagement may result in disqualification.
If the first potential winner is disqualified, declines the Prize, cannot be contacted, or fails verification, the Sponsor may review the entrant associated with the next highest Verified Engagement Score.
No entrant is an official winner until the Sponsor completes verification and expressly confirms the entrant as the winner.
16. The Prize
One verified winner will receive the Nukhu Challenge Prize.
The Prize consists of in kind development and production services for one original short form audiovisual project with a finished runtime of up to 10 minutes.
The final film may be shorter than 10 minutes.
The guaranteed production package is expected to include:
Creative development meetings.
Evaluation and development of an original project idea.
Creation of a feasible scope, schedule, and budget.
Preproduction planning.
Assembly of a production and postproduction team selected or approved by the Sponsor.
Access to equipment selected by the Sponsor for the production.
Production of the short film.
Picture editing.
Basic sound editing and final sound mix.
Basic color correction or color finishing.
Delivery of one completed digital master.
The Prize is not a cash prize, production grant, reimbursement, stipend, or cash award.
The Prize is not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash.
No unused portion of the production resources or budget will be paid to the winner.
The Sponsor will control and administer production expenditures and may directly pay or provide cast, crew, vendors, equipment, facilities, and services.
The approximate retail value of the guaranteed Prize is $25,000.
The Sponsor’s ownership or access to more than $100,000 worth of film equipment does not mean the winner will receive the equipment, ownership of the equipment, or a $100,000 cash or production budget.
The Prize does not guarantee celebrity casting, union production, theatrical distribution, festival acceptance, licensing, profitability, recoupment, awards, or any particular commercial or critical result.
17. Development of the Winning Project
The entry Reel does not need to contain the winner’s proposed film idea.
Following verification, the winner will be invited to propose up to three original project ideas.
The Sponsor and winner will select one idea for development based on considerations including:
Originality.
Creative potential.
Production feasibility.
Rights availability.
Budget.
Cast, crew, location, and schedule requirements.
Safety.
Legal and insurance requirements.
The ability to produce a meaningful version within the available production resources.
The selected idea must be capable of lawful and safe production.
The Sponsor and winner may adapt, revise, restructure, reduce, or otherwise develop the idea to create a feasible short film.
Selection of an idea does not guarantee that every proposed scene, location, performer, effect, creative element, or production requirement will appear in the completed film.
18. Additional Financing and Resources
The Sponsor may seek sponsorship, grants, investment, production partnerships, donated services, locations, equipment, or other resources for the winning project.
Additional financing or support is not guaranteed.
The inability to secure additional resources will not require the Sponsor to produce the winner’s idea at its original or preferred scale.
The Sponsor may instead produce a reasonably adapted version that can be completed within the guaranteed Prize resources.
Neither the Sponsor nor the winner will be required to contribute personal cash beyond the guaranteed Prize unless separately and voluntarily agreed in writing.
19. Development and Production Agreement
Before formal development or production begins, the winner and Sponsor must enter into a separate written development and production agreement.
The agreement will address matters including:
Ownership of the project and completed film.
Ownership of the underlying concept, screenplay, characters, and other materials.
Writing, directing, producing, acting, editing, and other creative roles.
Credits.
Creative consultation and approval rights.
Budget and financing.
Compensation or profit participation, when applicable.
Distribution, exhibition, publicity, and marketing rights.
Festival submissions.
Music, appearance, location, and intellectual property clearances.
Production schedule and delivery requirements.
Insurance, safety, and legal compliance.
Responsibilities of the Sponsor and winner.
Winning the Contest does not automatically guarantee the winner the right to direct, act in, write, edit, own, distribute, or exercise final creative control over the completed project.
Any such role or right must be included in the written production agreement.
The Sponsor and winner will negotiate the agreement in good faith.
If the parties cannot reach an agreement within 30 days after formal negotiations begin, the Sponsor may withdraw the Prize and offer it to an alternate eligible entrant.
20. Production Timing, Location, and Travel
The winning project is expected to be produced primarily within the New York City metropolitan area unless the Sponsor approves another location.
Travel, lodging, meals, visas, work authorization, local transportation, and personal expenses incurred by the winner are not included unless expressly agreed in writing.
The winner will not be required to relocate permanently.
The Sponsor anticipates beginning development after the production agreement is signed.
The project is expected to be substantially completed by December 31, 2028.
Production dates may change because of financing, creative development, cast or crew availability, locations, permitting, insurance, weather, labor, safety, legal requirements, platform changes, force majeure events, or other legitimate production conditions.
21. Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, local, and other taxes associated with accepting the Prize.
The absence of a cash payment does not necessarily eliminate potential tax obligations arising from the receipt of services or production resources.
The Sponsor may issue any tax forms required by law.
The Sponsor will not provide additional cash for taxes or personal expenses.
The winner should consult an independent tax adviser.
22. Entry Ownership and Promotional License
Entrants retain ownership of their original entry content, subject to third party rights.
By entering, each entrant grants the Sponsor a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty free license to view, reproduce, repost, display, distribute, excerpt, caption, resize, format, and promote the entry in connection with:
Administering the Contest.
Advertising the Contest.
Announcing or documenting entrants and the winner.
Promoting Nuvee Club and its filmmaking programs.
Creating Contest recaps, compilations, reactions, press materials, and social media content.
The Sponsor may identify the entrant by name, Instagram handle, likeness, voice, and publicly supplied biographical information in connection with these uses.
The Sponsor will not acquire ownership of the entrant’s future film idea merely because the entrant participated in the Contest.
23. Similar Ideas
Entrants acknowledge that the Sponsor develops and receives many creative ideas and that an entrant’s idea may be similar to concepts independently developed by the Sponsor or submitted by others.
Participation does not create a confidential, fiduciary, employment, agency, partnership, or exclusive relationship.
No submitted idea will be treated as confidential unless the Sponsor agrees otherwise in a separately signed writing.
24. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the winner’s name, city and state, Instagram handle, likeness, voice, statements, entry, behind the scenes material, and information about the winning project for Contest and production related promotional, editorial, and advertising purposes without additional compensation.
Additional uses may be addressed in the production agreement and applicable releases.
25. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents from claims arising from:
Participation in the Contest.
Acceptance, taxation, use, or production of the Prize.
Unauthorized or unlawful acts committed by an entrant.
Technical, network, platform, hardware, software, upload, transmission, reporting, or data failures.
Incorrect, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, unavailable, or inaccessible engagement information.
Removal, restriction, suspension, or termination of an Instagram account or Reel.
Personal injury, property damage, infringement, or other loss associated with an entry or the production process.
Nothing in these Official Rules limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
26. Instagram and Meta Disclaimer
This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Each entrant completely releases Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from responsibility relating to the Contest.
Entrants understand that information is being provided to the Sponsor and not to Instagram or Meta.
Questions, comments, and complaints concerning the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor.
27. Sponsor’s Right to Modify, Suspend, or Cancel
The Sponsor may suspend, modify, extend, or cancel the Contest if fraud, manipulation, technical failure, platform changes, legal requirements, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control compromise the Contest’s administration, security, integrity, or fairness.
If the Contest ends early, the Sponsor may identify a potential winner from eligible entries received before termination using the verification and scoring procedures in these Official Rules, when legally and practically possible.
The Sponsor may issue reasonable clarifications that do not materially reduce a verified winner’s guaranteed Prize.
28. Disqualification
The Sponsor may reject an entry, remove a collaborator designation, revoke winner status, or disqualify an Original Poster who:
Violates these Official Rules.
Attempts to manipulate engagement or Contest administration.
Uses fraudulent, purchased, automated, or incentivized engagement.
Provides false, altered, incomplete, or misleading information.
Misrepresents account ownership or content ownership.
Interferes with another entrant.
Threatens, abuses, deceives, harasses, or impersonates another person.
Infringes another person’s rights.
Uses the Contest primarily to advertise an unrelated product, organization, service, account, or campaign.
Attempts to create a false or misleading affiliation with the Sponsor.
Deletes, makes private, materially alters, or prevents access to the entry before verification is complete.
Fails to provide requested Insights, releases, account verification, or rights documentation.
Engages in conduct that may reasonably damage the Sponsor, the Contest, another participant, or the public.
Acceptance of a collaborator invitation does not prevent later disqualification.
29. Privacy
Information collected from entrants will be used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, contact the potential winner, fulfill the Prize, comply with legal obligations, and promote the Contest as described in these Official Rules.
Information will also be handled in accordance with the Sponsor’s published Privacy Policy.
The Sponsor will not sell personal information collected solely for Contest administration.
30. Governing Law and Disputes
To the fullest extent permitted by law, these Official Rules and the Contest will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal action arising from the Contest must be brought individually, and not as part of a class or representative proceeding, in a state or federal court located in New York County, New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Before filing a claim, an entrant must provide written notice describing the dispute and allow the Sponsor 30 days to attempt an informal resolution.
31. Severability
If any provision of these Official Rules is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
32. Winner Announcement
The verified winner is expected to be announced live during Nukhufest on September 19, 2026.
The announcement may be delayed if engagement, identity, eligibility, account ownership, rights, or compliance verification cannot be completed in time.
If the first potential winner is disqualified, declines the Prize, cannot be contacted, or fails verification, the announcement may be delayed while an alternate potential winner is reviewed.
To request the winner’s name after the announcement, contact:
[email protected]
33. Complete Rules
These Official Rules constitute the complete rules governing the Contest.
Promotional captions, Reels, graphics, interviews, websites, listings, and other campaign materials are summaries only.
If promotional material conflicts with these Official Rules, these Official Rules will control.
